Passau, city of three rivers: Italian flair to the north of the Alps

The city's 5,000-year history always seems to linger in the crooked alleyways of its famous historic centre. The Danube, Inn and Ilz flow together here, and the city of Passau never ceases to delight its visitors. A visit of the historic city centre, with its picturesque squares, the cathedral, residence and town hall squares is a must. And don't forge to look at the town hall's grand hall, and stroll along the beautiful promenade along the Danube and Inn. Where the three rivers meet, you will find yourself a part of a fascinating natural show - the Danube, Inn and Ilz rivers flowing together.
